Five years ago back in 2004, IBM sold their PC business onto the Chinese computer maker Lenovo Group. Today we’re going to be taking a look at the Lenovo ThinkPad T500, a laptop which is said to withhold the qualities the industry has come to expect from the ThinkPad series.

This is a nice looking laptop overall and works well. The only drawback I see is limiting the maximum memory to 2G even though the DDR3-1066 works well.

Very good review.

I never owned one, but I always liked the looks of them. This is no exception. One of the most beautiful laptops IMO.
The price is high in the UK and in Europe, as usual.
With a quick search I found T500 at under 1000 euros in Greece, but with different configuration (Intel4500, P8400), but found one with
T9550, 4GB, 320GB, 3650, for 1400 euros.
If I could spare money I would definitely consider this model. Looks very good.

been using a think pad for over a year now, and I have to say they're very good, but I still think overpriced in the UK anyway.
