Akasa Freedom Xone @ DH

Akasa Freedom Xone Review
_________________________

Today we are going to have a look at their latest high performance case, the Freedom Xone. Unlike the Omega and the Infinity Zor cases that we recently reviewed and which Akasa classes as full size tower cases, the Freedom Xone is classed as a midi tower case even though its physical size is marginally smaller than the Omega’s.

Very good review.
I like the case. I don't like clear side panels so not being able to look inside it, is fine by me.
What I do not like is the look of the top from panel with the jacks. It just looks super cheap.
I was going to complain about not having all the fans in the box, but I noticed the price which is very low so that can be forgiven.
I wish they would have added more USB connections in the front or side of the case.

Awesome review. For the most part I do like the case.

I have to agree, BlueMak, about the top-view. It just leaves something to be desired and I definitely find myself wanting more USBs on the front panel. The four on my Cosmos is some times not enough when I have a lot of stuff plugged in.

One thing that I have come to appreciate about a lot of case builders is the painting on the entire case instead of just the outside. I really get tired of having to paint the inside of cases to make things look better.

In a way I'm also happy that some companies seem to sacrifice the money to put fans in all slots for the painting (so it seems in cheaper cases) since most of the time I strip out all of the stock fans anyway (just a waste of money IMO)
