Suggest video card for Inspiron8500

I was given a Dell Inspiron 8500 from a friend because the display was not working. I started it up at home a couple times and it was fine. Then the screen became garbled with various things. There is an ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 card in it(I have determined that the card is bad). Can anyone suggest a card? I am not doing anything to serious on it.

I know you said the card was bad, but is the display garbled on both an external monitor as well as the built in LCD display?
