There are some USB to VGA adapters which mainly exist to allow the connection of an external monitor on a laptop which does not have a VGA port. Nothing close to playing games though.

I'm sorry, there is nothing even close to what you are asking for, you cannot upgrade the GPU of a laptop or replace it. You are stuck with what you got.

MXM is pretty much a lost cause... There's not enough users who'd have the laptops capable of it or are willing to do it themselves.
Plus, MXM graphics cards would cost a ton as the demand isn't that great for them and thus, the supply would be very limited (as well as the productions costs being so high to produce such a small amount of chips).

What kind of laptop do you have anyway? You can check to see if it's MXM here: http://www.mxm-upgrade.com/Table.html

Also: if it is, you can talk to the guy that runs that site and sells MXM cards here: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/...p?showforum=67

a 128mb pcmcia video card did exist once. i think it had like 4 pixel pipelines or something. it really wasn't any better than the typical onboard video of the better laptops of today.

too bad about mxm. i was really, really excited about it.
