Lap Top CPU's ? Please
HI
Thanks for your time and help. Looking at new lap tops and see that some of the Intel Core 2 Duo CPU's are from the desk top series. What, if any difference or advantage do the "E" series offer over the "T" series in a lap top? Specifically, say the E6400 vs T7200. Best J

E is the desktop chip, T is the laptop chip.
For the Core 2 Duo T series, there are 2 major "families" (not really what they're called, but I can't think of anything better). T5xxx means they have slower clocks and 2MB caches. T7xxx are faster and have 4 MB caches. |
