Laptop upgrade

Hi guys, I have an HP Pavillion Zt3000, with 512 Mb of PC2700 of RAM. I wanna upgrade the ram from my lap. I have some questions... Can I use 2 1 Gb sticks? How can I know the type (and amount) of RAM does my lap support? Do you know any page?

Anotehr question. My ram runs at 333 MHz. Can I use 400 MHz sticks?

You can use 2 1Gb sticks. And you can get 400 MHz sticks but they won't run at 400MHz. But you must make sure that the sticks will work with your laptop so I recommend you to lookup what HP recommends for memory upgrade.

Help...
I NEED to upgrade my dvd burner on my Toshiba Satellite P15-S479. The current burner is a Matshita UJ 811 (P.O.S.) It has been replaced 3 times by toshiba (with the same model burner). My warranty has expired and i am once again getting IO errors. Time to upgrade, can you advise what burners are compatible with this laptop? Thanks
