another question concerning docking stations
In the previous thread I started I gave the specs of the laptop I am planning on purchasing. I have run into a snag though. I am planning on hooking the laptop to a docking station and also using two 19/20" LCD monitors for viewing. The only docking station available is one that connects via usb port. I have never seen this before. I am concered I will not be able to hook up two monitors. I called and one man said I could hook one to the laptop and the other to the docking staition. This makes me nervous. I would prefer to hook both monitors to the docking station, but this docking station only has a connection for one monitor.
Here is a web address for the docking station/replicator I am looking at: Toshiba dynadock USB Docking Station with Video Port (VGA) - Toshiba Do any of you use this type of docking station with two monitors? If so how is it? |

well that does have VGA connector so it should work. All you need for that is VGA cable.

Thank for the reply
I know it has a VGA connection, but would I have problems with the second monitor hooked up to the laptop? I know one monitor would work fine. Terry |

I don't see any reasons why not. All you need is to get the drivers installed and you are good to go.
