Sony Vaio Laptop - VGN-FE31H

Hi, I'm trying to clean/replace the keyboard on the laptop as it has stopped working (unable to type anything on the keyboard, everytime a folder is opened, the laptop tries to rename the first item [shortcut key F2])

Also unless 5 keys are pressed down on bootup, the laptop sticks on trying to enter the BIOS setup (which again is F2). You can see my problem

I have been searching on the Internet for clues on how to remove the keyboard from the laptop but I have found nothing, I appreciate any help that can be given.

There should be some instructions at the site, no? I had/have a compaq pressario laptop (bought in 2002), and from what I remember I had to (after unplugging it and removing the battery), unscrew 2 screws, then with a knife pull the top off, then another couple of screws.
There must be something available in the support section of the official site.

Hi, I don't know the answer but have a query myself I have a sony vaio vgn FE 31H laptop but the power socket is loose and so the battery will not charge, any idea how to fix it please? Can't use the laptop at all now and so lost without it
