looking for ATI IXP460

Where's the best place in the US to get a replacement for an ATI IXP 460 graphics chip for an HCW51 mobo?

This chip has burned out in our Acer Aspire 5100 laptop. The chip also controls I/O functions, so the mouse & keyboard don't respond without it. A new board would be close to $300 & the unit is not worth putting that much into, but we'd like to get it working again.
Any ideas/suggestions appreciated.

I personally think that you can't replace that chip, because it is permanently installed to the board. So it looks like new laptop is the only solution.

if you have the technology to replace it...... you are going to have to talk to AMD, but i doubt they got any to just hand out to consumers....
