ferrari 3400 laptop sleep problem- Moderator Help!!

My Acer Ferrari 3400 laptop with ATI Radeon 9700 worked well since I updated my BIOS problem started. Recently Acer released a new BIOS 3C25 for Vista support. and after installing the new BIOS i have got problem with my sleep feature. The laptop goes into sleep but when I wake it up the HD spins for a second and goes off. the screen is completely blank. The laptop doesn't respond. I have to hard reset the power button to turn it on again.
I have a dual Booting mode. I have the same problem in XP as well. I tried the Mobility modder installer and everything installed fine. But after this when ever i press standby the computer goes into hibernation. The hybernation feature works nicely.
I tried the same method in Vista and installed perfectly but the problem doesn't disappear.
So is it a driver related issue or Is it because of BIOS update?
what should i do now?

Hi there and welcome to DriverHeaven!

If I were you I would contact Acer since that is BIOS issue and they are the only ones that can fix it.
