First of welcome to DH..

Secondly How about you post some details.

For example.

Full system specs, including what OS you are using.

And more importantly what is your problem as it looks currently no one knows what your question is about.

Yeah yeah, I wrote it in a hurry ya know :-)
I just wanted to install Win XP on my Vista laptop. As we all know it ain't that easy.
I can handle system installation but those drivers for WinXP aren't nowhere to be found.
HP doesn't support WinXP anymore on Pavilion. Pavilion is designed for Vista.
So I googled a little and found some mentions about it.(drivers for XP) But no functional links.

Specs:
AMD Turion X2
GeForce 8400M GS 128MB
2048MB
160 GB (5400 RPM, SATA)
15,4' - 1280x800 (WXGA, 16:10)

rolleyes Network drivers for dv6720ec

Ok now,

I've installed WinXP on my HP Pavilion dv6720ec. I've managed to find all the drivers except those for networking.
Does anyone have them pls? I know there has been some rumors on many sites but I can't get to them.
They say that I have to install chipset drivers (Ethernet, SATA, RAID and Modem) first or else I may experience weird WinXP behavior. I don't know how to get all the drivers back to the original state (when I first started WinXP).
Thanks

exclamation HP dv6605us Laptop - XP drivers (LINK to download)

~-=!!! TO EVERYONE !!!=-~

HEY! I have successfully downgraded from Vista into XP another HP Laptop - Pavilion dv6605us laptop!!! By using your links and directions I was able to put all the drivers together into this Driver Genius Pro Self-Installing (.exe) pack!!!

Here's the link to download the DG pack with all the drivers for dv6605us:
Get on RapidShare, choose "Free User" and wait a minute till the "Download" button shows up! After downloading (from RapidShare) launch the (.exe) file (PART 2) and click "Start Restore". If after the full restore and rebooting your system, some of the drivers still missing, then, i guess, you will have to use some of the folders I uncluded in the archives (PART 1 & 2) to install unknown drivers in "Device Manager" manually!!!
But I think it should work. And of course if the driver pack DOES work, don't forget to back it up on a CD-R or smth, just to have it...
And if you don't have a WinRAR program (to read .RAR archives, here's the link to download an installation))
THANX!! Hope I helped someone in any way...
Alex.

@ spellbinder-alex

i don't think it's such a good idea to post them to rapidshre, the links get deleted after a period of time (i think if there hasn't been any link activity in a period of three months, the links are deleted).

just upload them to DriverGuide.com (printer drivers, cdrom drivers, modem drivers, sound drivers, mouse drivers, monitor drivers, etc.) - DriverGuide.com, you would have to register first, and anyone who wants to download the drivers would have to register too, but atleast the links there stay permantly. besides, the registration is free, all you have to do is fill out a form and give your e-mail adress, but it has to be areal one, they send you a conformation mail whith a link that validates your registration. hell, i have 6 accounts there , could give you the info to one, so you don't bother making one yourself. just PM me and i'll give you my username and pass, cheers .

Edit: or if you want, i could download them and put the link here to driverguide?
