IBM/Lenovo battery Gauge update?

is anyone else having trouble with it? if it even shows up at all now it is stuck at the same percentage as when i turn the computer on, even as the battery depletes, showing the same percentage constantly, or 100% - fully charged, even if not. this has been happening since the newest update of power manager.

System spec:
Lenovo thinkpad t60p
Windows vista x64 ultimate SP1
2gB ram
ati mobility firegl V5250 video card
extended 9-cell battery
system is under a year old. originally shipped with windows XP but has been running vista for 4 months now with no problems.
I have the current update manager from lenovo.

any tips appreciated, thanks!

Hi Dan,

Sorry no one has answered you, however im guessing not many people own the same laptop or have had the issue. Sounds like something has corrupted with regards to a DLL or system update.

Have you tried reinstalling the lenovo software? deinstalling then running a registry cleaner then reinstalling from fresh?

hrm. i did run a registry cleaner before reinstalling. I used Ccleaner. but nothing came up hacing to do with the power manager software, unfortunately. still trying to figure this out. thinking of just putting XP back on it.
