Dell Inspiron 1525
Hi All,
I'm looking at replacing my wife's HP Laptop as it keeps conking out (see http://www.hardwareheaven.com/laptop-n...s-problem.html). I've been looking at the Dell Inspiron 1525. Has anyone got one or used one? I'm curious as to how it performs etc. Cheers,

Just make sure you don't get a version with a 8400 or 8600 series graphics card and you should be ok.

Great stuff. I've actually gone for the Studio 15 model. The only GFX upgrade option was the 256mb 3450 but as it's for the Missus, she won't be getting too Crysis hungry on it (I think audiosurf is the biggest hammering the card would get)!
Dell have certainly made an improvment in their laptops looks department, they are looking great. Cheers for the advice.

Good, the 3450 is a fine entry level graphics solution for a laptop. It should be able to handle Audiosurf without any problem. Enjoy your (well, wife's) new laptop!
