I couldn't take it any longer!!!! (vista)

I just could not take the lack of control and the constant crashing. the cronique questioning was no help. I am new to this forum but not to MS. I have to say Vista is the worst!!!!!
Boils down to went back to XP without doing my home work and now I cannot come up with some drives. I have a Toshiba Satelite, P205D-s7439. I need an sm bus contoller, pci controller and ethernet controller. Can any one help????

Give THIS posting a shot. It's in regards to Sony drivers, but the discs I mention are good for any laptop or desktop. Essentially, rather than looking all over the net for the drivers you need I'd give these discs a try, and if after that it doesn't work just post back in here, and we'll try to point you in the right direction.

try using some kind of a hardware recognizing utility, like Everest, find which devices are installed on the notebook, and then try looking for the drivers manually (google the drivers out...

).

here is what i found on some other forums. these are the drivers for the Toshiba Satellite P205D-S7436, but the only difference between the notebooks seems to be the CPU (the speed of the CPU), and the RAM (the quantity of the RAM)... all the other parts seem to be the same.

here is a Windows XP 32 bit driver pack for the Toshiba Satellite P205D-S7436 notebook:

i haven't downloaded them and unpacked them to see what the package holds... if a manual install is needed, then extract the .exe driver installation files using WinRAR or Universal Extractor. try them an post with the results...
