Having trouble running World of Warcraft on ATI Mobility Radeon HD2400XT

Hello,
I have been trying to find decent graphic drivers to install on my laptop (with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD2400XT). First I have tried the original drivers from the manufacturer. The results were not so great and the performance in games was kinda sloppy but I managed to run games like Crysis (with all settings on low).
Then, I changed to modded drivers, omegadrivers. The performance got a bit better, but in some games like World of Warcraft, the resulsts weren't so pleasent.
I am running on Windows XP Professional SP2 and here's my system configuration:
Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 2,2GHz 4MB cache
ATI Mobility Radeon HD2400xt 256MB (dedicated memory)
2 x 2GB DDRII (667MHz) RAM
WD 250GB @ 5400 RPM

I have tried Driverheaven's tool to modify the latest ATI drivers, and those are the drivers currently running on my system.
The problem is that I have major issues while running World of Warcraft. I suppose my graphics card should be able to run WoW at maximum settings, but that's not the case here. I believe it could be a matter of drivers, because as to temperature, I got it well cooled. I use a cooling plataform by Zalman and so far haven't had problems with it.
When I run world of warcraft, even if I lower the graphics quality, sometimes the game kinda becomes visually laggy, but it also seems to run slower or even in a sloppy way. At first I thought it was due to the high ammount of people playing around be but it also happened in narrow areas where I was alone.
If anyone could help me fixing this issue. I'd be very thankful

Thanks in advance!

With kind regards,
Hallaghan
