HP G7070ei webcam driver for XP!!!!
Hi guys. I'm new to this forum and I recently downgraded my notebook from Vista to XP. I found drivers for everything except my webcam and HP is no help at all. Does someone have a solution please????

sorry... a google search doesn't seem to return back anything usefull, except that you notebook is designed for Vista and if you do happen to downgrade to XP, you will do it at you own risk, HP doesn't seem to give any kind of tech support for the webcam drivers... so i guess you are on your own...
one of the things you could try is using some kind of hardware identification software, like Everest, and find out which brand and model is you webcam, then try to contact the manuacturers website for XP drivers (if something like that even exists)... that's the best advice i could give you...

Hello all, I am a veteran techie. over 20 years troubleshooting and building computers. If I have an answer for some of he questions, I will be gladly to post them unless someone posts them before me. No sense in duplicating the answer.
