need help compaq pressario c300 won't boad operating system
my brother has given me his pressario c300 laptop has sata hard drive have tested it and its ok but when i tried to reload a new operating systen as he some how wiped it it gets to the press any key to start and then the screen goes blank and it won't even load a lynix my brother formated the hard drive and forgot to make a set of recovery cd,s but the machine doesn,t seam to recognise any os what can i do the laptop is less than two years old has pheonox bios and intel chip i don't know what the graphics were
