A gadget I hadn't considered if it wasn't for how surprisingly usable my relatively simple Nokia 5220 music mobile was as a small video player. It can't handle more than 320x240 at about 10fps with MP4, but I've gotten through a few shorter movies on it. In fact the most bugging thing about it is not the framerate but that the screen has an extremely narrow viewing angle. Not surprising on a "music phone".
I would enjoy having some device with a half decent little screen and juice enough for 25fps and maybe h.264 codec compliance at 320x240 or above. I know of the iPod's but can't stand anything based on iTunes, and don't want another phone. Any ideas?
