Beach grenade: which anti-glare filter works the best on a monitor?
Great weather's here and it's time to bomb the beach and take some of that work outside. I've never used an anti-glare filter on my monitor before. Do they do a good job of blocking out the sun? Are they fit for hardcore heavy duty beach action? Or are they a gimmick? Which one do you use on your monitor to prevent your eyeballs from suffering fourth-degree burns?

Re: Beach grenade: which anti-glare filter works the best on a monitor?
any anti-glare filters i've personally been able to play with have always ended up pissing me off and not doing the job. And anyone that has asked me to get in a specific one that they had seen elsewhere has also ended up ripping it off and chucking it too.
And i personally haven't taken anything eletronic to the beach.

So if and / or when you work outdoors is viewing the monitor while sitting in the sun problematic? How senstive are your eyes to the sun do you have an absolute need to wear sunglasses on a hot July 4th day cause your eyes are super sensitive to the sun or conversely can you walk around all day sans shades?
