Alienware M11x Refresh?

I have seen rumors on the internet that the m11x is going to get a refresh come late June...improving the screen, setting up solid optimus support, and bringing an i3/5 processor. Does anyone know if there is any truth to that?

I'm sure it's only a matter of time, but AW probably don't want to pull an Apple and reveal all to the world now jeapordising sales.

I read a thing elsewhere that said late June, but I don't even know if it is really worth waiting for.

General rule is that there will always be something new/better just about ready to be released. For the M11x specifically, its an awesome machine and anyone who buys it will be very impressed... its near flawless. That said, a core i3/i5 version with optimus is a very desirable machine and could well improve on the near perfection of the original...

Well, I went and picked mine up tonight. A local retailer had the configuration I wanted for $30 less than the Alienware price (from them directly) and I don't have to wait 3 weeks to get it. Thoughts/impressions coming shortly.

Question:
It shows in the review that you used the mobility modder, yet the 335gt isn't on the supported cards list. Has it just not been added?
Also, what driver should I download from Nvidia?

For the driver that was needed at the time but Dell/AW have the 197.12 set available on their support site dated 20/04. Use those: Drivers & Downloads

You can also try: http://www.nvidia.com/object/noteboo...7.16_whql.html to see if support for the M11x has been added.
