What laptop should I buy? Which one is the best laptop from following selections?
What laptop should I buy? Which one is the best laptop from following selections?

Toshiba Satellite L500
HP ProBook 4520s
Compaq Presario
CQ42-268TX
Compaq Presario CQ62-258TU

I'm planning to use this for watching movies, Downloading and Programming basically.

Please advice me.

Out of that list I would go for Toshiba. I would also wipe their Windows install to get rid of the extra software they install which bloats the system and slows it down.

From the list brand wise, Toshiba all the way. They are well built and have excellent warranty. My mother has an L300 and has gone through kicks, drops, liquids, ash, bending, it still works like new.
Spec wise...I don't know, I haven't checked the models, if you would like to provide links for them...

Anyway.

My vote would be for the Compaq's. I've had to fix a couple of them, and HP support (who own Compaq, thus you go through them) has actually been really really good with their warranty.
