Keyboard issue
Hi
I've run into a unfortunate issue on my laptop. I had an external keyboard plugged into it because I got tired of typing on the labtop keyboard. It then proceeded to install new drivers for my external keyboard. Now that I plugged my external keyboard out again the keys on my laptop keyboard have been messed up. My labtop keyboard is pretty standard with a 'blue' shortcut key that allows some of the buttons to have several functions when pressed down(alphabet vs. numlock keys, etc.). This is however messed up, the keys that previously were typed using the shortcut key have become standard and the keys that previously were standard now needs me to press the shortcut button --> ~1/3 of the alphabet has been replaced by numlock keys when not pressing the shortcut button down. I have tried uninstalling the keyboard drivers, but to no prevail. I hope someone can help me solve it. Thanks, JKM |

Re: Keyboard issue
my laptop has a numlock key that can be turned on/off with that blue shortcut key. When i plug in an external keyboard the numlock turns on, and stays on even after disconnecting the keyboard. I then press Fn + Ins and it turns off again. As this would be the easiest fix to your problem I'd say try it.
