Need new tablet/laptop

Hi all
My current laptop is failing and I am really looking to get a tablet to replace it, but it needs to be running windows and have atleast 1 USB port so I can still use it for my classes that need to have me hook up USB devices.
I am considering this asus tablet. Newegg.com - ASUS EP121-1A004M Tablet PC - Silver Bezel, White Back Panel Intel Core i5 470UM(1.33GHz) 12.1" Wide SVGA 2GB Memory DDR3 32GB SSD HDD Intel HD Graphics

otherwise I would be wanting a laptop with atleast a 13" screen and would prefer it to be light and if possible touchscreen

If I could afford it I would get it.

But, as someone who used a range of devices for years in classes, nothing beats a notepad, and by that I mean paper and pencil. Seriously.

I have to use it to run programs during class not just take notes. I always take notes on paper cause i am much faster at that

HP will be putting out their new Slate, the Slate 2 pretty soon (it might even be out right now). It has an 8.9" screen, 2GB of RAM, comes in 32GB and 64GB models, comes with the touch pen, and runs on Windows 7 Pro. The only downside is that it's running an Intel Z670 Atom chip (single core with Hyper Threading), but from the demo I tried it was pretty zippy. Another plus, because it's using that chip the battery supposedly lasts about 6 hours.

I think the new Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime is the best bet, although it doesn't run windows. I'm sure you can find a hacked ROM for it to put on Windows.
If you're looking for a notebook, Lenovo is really great. Second in the world after Dell, a lot better prices than Dell, and support is on par (though I think Lenovo support is still North America - Dell, good chance you'll reach someone in India or where ever)

thanks guys I will look into those if my new screen doesn't solve the problem but idk how it can't since the problem is fixed by moving the screen and I am getting an entire screen unit
