What is Intel Advanced-n+ Wimax 6250 ?
I have a new Lenovo laptop and I want to replace the wireless network card with one that can also support 3g and/or 4g for Rogers in Canada (AT&T compatible). I thought that's what the Intel Advanced-n+ Wimax 6250 would do, but I'm not sure. Seems like almost all 3g modems are USB. I'd like to have something internal.

That wireless card supports 802.16e which is a type of neighbourhood wifi that's available in some cities, it's not 3G.
I haven't seen an internal 3G card that would replace your wifi card, as you said most 3G modems are gonna be USB. Typically 3G modems require a sim card, which is why you don't see many if any internal ones perhaps. |
