I just bought a Vaio NV series notebook. An outstanding desktop replacement and and even better graphix card (a Mobility Radeon 7500). But DVD seems to have lots of noise.
I've heard other people having this same problem and they said it had to do with the drivers (note that these people had Radions....but the ones who told me they solved it were on Radio 8500 mostly) So....my question. Since there's not much support from ATI to it's mobility branch can someone please help me find the correct drivers for playing DVD the right way and not they way I would watch VCR!>>!??!??! Please, I bought this comp for the DVD mostly!!! Thank you in advance, |

I don't know if this info is much help to you but my Compaq 2800 with a Radeon 7500 (64-ddr) plays DVDs very well. In fact it embarresses my home DVD player. I am using the Omega/Plutonium 1.1.02 set. I'll admit that I didn't watch any movies on it before upgrading the video drivers. I wonder if it would have played poorly with the original drivers? It sure wouldn't play any games before.
I wish you well on figuring it out. |

I would love to say these would fix all your problems, but I don't know. If the person who wrote them doesn't mind I would be willing to send them to you. I'm sure I can find where I saved them
Can you receive a file that's 13 megs? |
