Notebook Coolers

Hey, I was browsing newegg and saw notebook coolers, or fans that attatch to bottom of laptop:

I was looking at the following model,
Vantec LapCool2 Notebook Cooler, with 4 USB2.0 ports

The 4-port usb hub would also be quite nice, since those alone cost 20-30 dollars. Just wondering if anyone here uses these or knows about them.

My son has that exact model cooling his VoodooPC M855 laptop. He has the cooler blowing air on the bottom of his lappy. Don't know how much "cooling" this provides but it can't hurt. Also, the powered USB hub is great. He uses it as a psuedo docking station.

I have one and it basically puts my laptop an inch higher in the air. The flimsy USB cable got borked and now it doesn't work. The weird thing is, it would only sit on my desk. Maybe I just got a lemon.
