wierd touchpad problem

Hey guys,
Recently I have been having some problems with my touchpad on my dell inspiron 5150. The touchpad used to work great, but recently it has become slugish and erratic. Sometimes it is really fast and then it slows down. It is very hard to be exact with it because of this. Also, it seems like the axis are off because if you drag straight up, it goes to the right a bit. I have tried several drivers and that has not fixed the prblem. I have noticed just today that the problem seems to get worse when I use a USB device. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Just noticed this, if you drag your finger from bottom to top, straight up, it does sort of a backward "C". From the bottom to the middle it goes to the right and from the middle to the top it goes to the left. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Well the only thing I can think of is your motherboard driver might be funny. Try getting an updated version and install it, then reinstall ur touchpad driver.

Maybe its dirty and its sticking alot. Try cleaning it.
