Video Card Glitch in Laptop

Im having a problem with my laptop vid card. I posted over in the vid card forums, and was pointed here in the hopes that you guys could shed some light on my problem. Heres the link to the previous discussion. Any help is appreciated.

I just skimmed over the thread, but if it's a heat problem like you suggested, then there's only so much you can do about it.

Go to CompUSA or equivalent office store and buy a Can of Air. They sell them for dusting off keyboards and computers and whatnot.

Turn off your laptop and find the vents on the bottom or back where the intakes are.

Stick the nozzle right there and give it a good blast (note, don't hold the cans upside down, trust me).

It's probably best if you actually disassemble your laptop to get to the video card cooling mechanism, but that will void your warranty and can be very intimidating.

Blocked vents like this are the cause of 90% of the laptop problems I've ever fixed, hah. (I used to work for PC Maintenance at the University of Colorado, Boulder). Whenever there's a "My computer has been slowing down and crashing a lot lately" and similar problems, giving it a good shot of air and cleaning 'em out seems to totally help.
