Custom Notebooks?

Does anyone here have a custom built laptop (barebones + internals)? I've got a 15.1" Asus M6000 notebook and was just wondering if anyone had anything else like it... =)

You built it from components you ordered with your own two hands from the case outward - LCD and all?

I haven't seen or heard of anyone doing that...

No, well, yes. Upgraded a ton...

Replaced mainboards in Apples, IBM's and Dells - so that would be like building them from scratch in a way. Nothing like getting them together and hitting power for the first time afterward (anyone can make a mistake...) then seeing it come to life. Not damaged one yet, by God's grace...
