Light and Powerful - impossible?

So I'm looking for a laptop to replace my current one because it's just too heavy for all the work I do. I want a laptop that is about 4 pounds (which limits me to 13.3 or 12.1 inch screens from what I've seen), a good battery life is a plus, but not a must (the ones Ive been researching have had about 4 hours), but really the only other qualification I have is that I want a video card that can run modern games at a decent clip. The Radeon 9600 I have in my current laptop gets the job done, so anything of that class or higher would be great. Also, I don't want to pay over 2000 dollars. Is there a laptop that can support my wants? The Sony S360P was the only one I've seen so far that fit the bill, and they went and discontinued the line. The replacement model (S460) comes with an nVidia Geforce 6200 with TurboCache memory, and that just won't get the job done. Does anyone here have any recommendations for the following type of laptop?

Light (<= about 4 pounds)
Decent video card (Radeon 9600 or greater equivalency)
Sub 2000 dollar price tag

This could be a pipedream, and it may not exist, but I was hoping someone had something for me.

Sony has a 13" model that comes with a 9700pro 64mb dedicated vram. I think its called the S360 but i cannnot be sure. that's probably the smallest powerful laptop you can find. or the most powerful small one, depending on your perspective.
browse thru sony.... dunno if you'll get it for under 2k though.

ibook/powerbook? hahahaha... that's light, and it'll definitely handle whatever games are available for mac. prolly won't get it under $2k though.
