toshiba 1905-s303 ati mobility radeon m6-p 32M problem

When I run my mentor expedition CAD program on this toshiba m6-p machine, I get this problem:

When I select text, instead of small dashed box show up arround the text, a little line showed up, after I refresh, it is actually a huge box, and when I try to move it , it leaves a lot of lines behind that screw up the whole drawing window.

I tried all the driver , still same problem? anyone know why?
