Dell Inspiron 4150, 16MB Radeon, Win98SE

A note of thanks and compatibility report for rad_w9x_omega_2472.exe

I had just about given up trying to get Win98SE onto my Dell Inspiron 4150, with 16MB Radeon Mobility 7500C driving 1600*1200 display. Works wonderfully! Thanks to all involved.

Some minor glitches
A) power-saving options do not seem to be active - automatic switching to 16-bit does not seem to occur. However battery life seems to be better than under WinXP, even without this.
B) touching the power button causes instant switch-off rather than a shutdown sequence - must learn to do shutdowns manually.
C) the Lucent modem does not want to install - not a problem for me because I could boot WinXP if I needed it

And Dell told me I would NEVER find a video driver for Win98SE for this laptop!!!
