Audigy 2 PCMIA card rocks!!!

I have had this little gem for several months and pulled it from the blister pack, a few tweaks and some demo disks and I am sitting happier than a fat dog on a porch on summers day in Alabama...This card sounds so damn good in my Boss Headphones...
Now it probably seems like a gimmick to most I suppose but it really sounds damn good and there isnt any real wieght penalty, it sticks out a little but it sure improved my experience expodentially...
I recommned this little creative product to anyone and I might even try the KX drivers or the audigy 4 drivers if they will work, anyone got any ideas?

jeff, kX doesn't support this card yet, but Eugene has announced that he has this card and will be developing a build that supports it

Yeah, it's a great card, but I would pick Echo Indigo over it anytime since A2ZS PCMCIA isn't yet supported by kX, nor does it work in Linux or FreeBSD.

Well i think for the mainstream user the audigy2 ZS PCMCIA is a much more viable choice, it certainly is massively supported and the sound quality is the highest ive heard.

kX support is on the way though, just a matter of time i guess, and the ALSA group might pick it up for linux too

I heard that they are already working on it, however it's not easy because of the lack of documentation and some bugs in kernel PCMCIA code.

Yeah, that's true. Also, A2ZS PCMCIA is easy to get (even where I live), while Echo Indigo is a really rare card.
Still, for me ALSA and kX support is a must for me before I decide to buy it. But for most users, that's probably not very important.

Everything in Linux seems so trivial when UberLord speaks about it...]

I am not sure who makes the echo indigo card? I have used Turtle Beach before, but from what I read about the new Intel chipset and specs for onboard audio, only the creative products can beat it. I dont mind AC 97 for most things, except gaming, but I have been playing the Battlefield 2 Demo and I really appreciate the quality!!
