MacBook Pro for Gaming?

With these specs...

1.83GHz Intel Core Duo with 2MB shared L2 Cache

667MHz frontside bus

2GB (single SO-DIMM) 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM

100GB 7200rpm Serial ATA hard drive

ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 with 256MB GDDR3 memory

Would the macbook pro be good for gaming? and since you can dual boot with Vista you can play any windows game.

Don't know specifically, but won't the Mac just emulate Vista? If so, I doubt you will be playing games on it.

Rule of thumb, you want to play games, get a PC. If you don't play games, and want a mac, get a Mac.

That is a kickin computer though.

yeah its a nice computer.

how is it emulating Vista? You load Vista by itself just like you do on a pc.

The Macbook is probably the best Mac Laptop ever for gaming - but only for games written to run on a Mac.

XP won't run on it, and Vista, um - might - maybe - with help...

Edit: One more thing - the Core Duo processor does not look to have Intel's 64 bit extensions either (the processors currently in the latest Imac and Macbook Pro) but, still, they are nice Macs - should be a nice improvement.
