Red Hat Overhauls
Red Hat looking for business users? It seems that the fellas at Red Hat are retooling their popular version of Linux aiming for the business crowd.
Version number notwithstanding, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.0, released Wednesday, is the company's second edition of Linux specially designed for corporate users that prize stability. The company says that the new version of the operating system runs Java software and databases faster, can run on mainframes and several other new machines, takes advantage of powerful 32-processor hardware and comes with better programming tools. read here |

Nice.
I like to see Companies making money from Open Source software. RedHat really is a good company when it comes to this - they make money AND give loads back to the community. Any linux user should checkout their BlueCurve theme (style sets for KDE, GNOME & metacity). Looks schweet
