Removing Lilo

How do you remove lilo?

....from a SuSE installation that is. I am having some problems.

Depends. Did you install it on the MBR of your disk, or the superblock of your root partition ?

Do you have any other OSes in dual-boot on your system (so that you could regenerate a clean MBR from one of these), or just the SuSe ? What kind of problems are you having with LILO ?

BTW - for anything multi-boot, I still recommend XOSL over anything else (great, free, light, great, customizable, supports a large panel of OSes, did I mention it was great stuff also ?).

I just booted in XP Recovery Console and then did "fixmbr" and it took care of it.
