Fedora Core 1 is good.

Fedora core 1 is running very smoothly right now. Thats about all the details I'm gonna put out until I've got some more time in with it.

Is core 1 basically RH9 but with more "bleeding edge" software?

The kernel is 2.4.22 and the packages are up to date. It's got some other diferences but I can't compare it to RH9 since the last RH version I ran was 6 (!). The best thing for me so far was that it detected ALL my hardware correctly, and that is no small feat.

Heh/ - no longer up to date. Core 1= Apache 2.0.47 CV= 2.0.48 . :P

If it's any consolation, 2.0.48 was only marked stable a while ago in Gentoo ..... and I hate running things marked unstable on my 'lill server.

Well, except glibc, gcc and kernel - all bleeding edge
