Linux no boot?!?!
I re did my windows and linux partitions, Made them both install without APIC on....
Figured there was no need (and for some reason my computer overclocks better without it anyway) So I re did my linux... and now It wont boot, it get to the "Checking for new hardware" part, and freezes... I Did force no-apic, and tried it with it on too, nothing works.... I thought it liked "no-apic" What should I do? I cant even get it to boot up linux to redo the kernel... or ANYTHING... Thanks, MG

Try toggling the PnP OS flag in the BIOS.
Also, disconnect any un-needed peripherals for boot like printers, external HD's/CD-ROMS's, etc

It didnt like my ACPI .... which is odd, cuz when I had APIC working .... it had no problem with ACPI.... So I turned them both off....
Have to see if I can fix this latter.... MG
