Personally, I use GAIM
It started out life as an AIM client, but now it supports MSN, ICQ and Yahoo! via plugins. So don't be lonely on Linux - get chatting!

everybuddy is a nice alternative to gaim, it offers transparent protocol support
(a marketing name for the same interface regardless as to what IM protocol is being used) AIM ICQ YAHOO MSN Jabber IRC supported. check it out: everybuddy daniel |

Gabber supports
Jabber ICQ MSN AIM Yahoo and I think thats it, it's easy to configure and it's GUI is pretty good.
