you might want to wait and check out Knoppix DVD, it's not out yet (though yo may be able to find a pre-release on p2p networks), but it's soupposed to be knoppix but bigger and better.

Knoppix_v4.0-2005-06-08-linuxtag2005-dvd-de.iso
I heard good things about KNOPPIX DVD, but I haven't tried it. In case anyone is interested, the file name is KNOPPIX_V4.0-2005-06-08-LINUXTAG2005-DVD-DE.ISO. I found a torrent here, but I'm not sure it's a valid one since it's almost half the size of the real thing.

I'd recommend downloading one of the many Mandriva One cd's rather than
Mandrake move.. They come in both Gnome or KDE desktops. There are free versions available that means no closed source apps such as Java Flash ATI or Nvidia drivers

knoppix is deffinitely a very good os to use, because it comes with so many programs, but if you are looking for something really fun to use, download mandriva one

Knoppix is hands down the most handly LiveCD/DVD I've ever encountered.... also being that its built specifically for that purpose I guess it has an advantage of sorts.
