New ATI Linux Driver -- Shocking!

In case you hadn't yet seen this...

ATI Released a new version of their Linux Driver (v8.24.8) which apparently supports all of their current cards (including X1900), a wide swath of XFree86/X.org versions, 64-bit linux, and AVIVO.

EDIT - Didn't see it before (I must have been looking with my eyes closed) but there's already a thread about this over here. Oops!
