Having trouble getting Widescreen resolutions to work

Hi,

I can't seem to get 1920X1080 working right on my Puppy LInux .

Any ideas on what I need to do??

Thanks,

Mike

Manually edit the XORG.CONF perhaps?

I'm not very good at editing it myself, but I think that is where the key info is.

??? It seems like it is set up ok in xorg (perplexed)

Puppy is designed to let you select the resolution as you boot up.

I can select 1920X1080 with 16 or 24 bit color

When I select for nVidia gpu.. I get 1920X1080, but for any Ati 1800 or 1900 series I have tried... 1400X1050 results.

So even though I think I have settings ok.. something is not working.
