Hi,
I have two macbook pro laptops running Ubuntu Feisty which are working well using the fglrx driver with DVI out. However, I cannot seem to get the external port working if converting from DVI to VGA, I just get no connection. Does anyone know if DVI -> VGA is possible on the Macbook Pro and/or with the fglrx driver? Cheers, Chris |

It should work... I know of no option in that driver to enable or disable DVI --> VGA mode so...?

Hey,
Thanks for the reply. I did solve it in the end. I had to enable crt2 and disable crt1 (in xorg.conf / using aticonfig). Then it all worked ![]() Haven't tried under 64bit yet, but i386 is working well (even with matrox DualHead2Go). Cheers, Chris |

Did you ever get 64bit working? Or is this even a problem in 64?
