Acer Aspire 5553G with 5650 and IGP.

Just got myself this laptop and I have problems with ubuntu only finding the IGP and not the 5650. In windows it works like a charm with the IGP in power savings mode and the 5650 otherwise.

I don't really need to have it switchable like that in linux, I just want it to find the 5650 instead but I'm at a loss on how to do this in the driver.
