Can we expect new driver this month?

Considering the fact that Linux driver has entered Catalyst release-style, and by doing this ATI has comitted to 6 releases a year, can we anyhow expect new driver this month?

The first release of the year happended in January, second in Februrary, March was skipped, so I just ask...

Ive honestly no idea, the only guys who seem to answer my questions are the windows driver people within ATI.

If zardon has no idea, then ATI has no idea too .
Let's hope for the best , but anyway, sometimes it is really sad. Usually there's no feedback when there's no drivers .

As far as I know ATI is commited to a release roughly every two months, so I wouldn't worry if I were you

I hope something comes soon because fglrx will not install in the latest version of Mandrake (10.2 Limited Edition RC2) because there is a conflict with the latest version of xorg. I am running xorg 6.8.2-6

This is what I get:
Code:
#rpm -Uvh fglrx*
Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
file /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1.2 from install of fglrx_6_8_0-8.10.19-1 conflicts with file from package libxorg-x11-6.8.2-6mdk
If I try do "rpm -Uvh --force" it will install, but after running fglrxconfig, rebooting, and running fglrxinfo I get the following:
Code:
#fglrxinfo
display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: Mesa project: www.mesa3d.org
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa GLX Indirect
OpenGL version string: 1.2 (1.5 Mesa 6.2.1)

Thumbs Up! Delivered.

As of April 7/05, I think it's safe to say that expectations of a new driver this month were met

Release notes are here: http://www2.ati.com/drivers/linux/linux_8.12.10.html

Can this thread be locked now?

Well, as mentioned there's a new version of cats for *nix operating systems here:
https://support.ati.com/ics/support/...ge&folderID=27

And as Kombatant verified, new versions are scheduled to be released every two months. Therefore, I believe that this thread can be safely locked
