UberLord will become famous soon enough

I'll give this one an 8 - it would have been higher, but Doom3 speed is still lacking on Linux compared to Windows on the same hardware.

Kudos to the team for resolving the UT issue and the mouse pointer issue

I voted 8 as well. I was able to get the driver installed with a little patch. I am now able to play UT2004 and it doesn't seem like the memory leak is there anymore. The game runs better than it did on windows!

Keep up the good work ATI!!!

Now I just need to start emailing some of the game companies and see if they can port games to linux.

System Specs

I would say 7. The problems I'm experiencing are due to my newbiness, but I still think installation can be made simpler.
Quake3 (on FC3, where I'm able to install) and RTCW run nicely. I have to try AAO, and I guess it will work better since it's based on UT's engine.
Driver is definitly improving.

DarkFoss is on a distinguished road

I gave them an 8. Like RIV@NVX, I'm also a linux noob.I'm using Mandriva 2005 LE 86_64.
I've managed to get EverQuest running under Cedega 4.3 using p2p small version 1.3.3-1.
It runs very well almost as fast as under Xp. Nice job ATI !
There is some artifacting, flashing textures mostly and improper rendering of water in some of the newer zones. I think it's due to the fact that to get EQ running I had to go into Cedega's configuration for EQ and disable the Enable Usage of the ARB_VBO extension for Accelerated Vertex Buffers which is for ATI cards curiously enough. Leaving the NV_VAR extension for Accelerated Vertex Buffers enabled was the key to getting EQ to run. Is that possibly why I see the above mentioned artifacts?
Hopefully a future driver release will address this and I'll be able to use the ATI optimizations instead of Nvidia's.

Still have to install UT2K4 and see how a native game runs under 64 bit !
