Toggle console in Quake3...

...doesn't work for me. If I press the ~ (that key under Escape), nothing happens. I tried binding it to another key (such as P), but it seems that doesn't make it work either. Any ideas?
It works nicely under Windows.

I works fine for me with shift+^ (ge_ru) or shift+` (ge_la) when i have binded it with

bind ` "toggleconsole"

. With my german keyboard i must use shift+´ .
