List of native games that run problem-free with fglrx
I thought it would be a great idea to have a sticky thread about which native games (aka no Wine, Cedega) run problem-free under ATI's Linux driver. That way, if someone can't play a said game that another member is playing without problems, he can ask for corrent settings and troubleshoot his problem here
![]() To make the start, call me old-fashioned, but I am still a DM junkie so I'll vote Quake 3

I'm old-fashioned as well, so I will say Quake 3 too.
Just kidding, I have played Quake 3 previously, and it worked just perfect.Enemy Territory didn't have any problems either.

Eternal Lands doesn't have any issues with the latest ATI driver, but the previous 2 drivers had bad flickering.

To revive this thread a bit, I will add that Icculus Quake3 also works perfectly with fglrx (test with version 8.23 on SUSE 10.0 x86).

In that case I feel that I must point out that with xorg modular + EL + fglrx you loose the interactive pointer. With xorg-server-0.99.3 (last one that worked) enabling FSAA in the driver caused the same effect. At first I thought this was an xorg bug, but I'm now thinking its an ATI bug.
Quake4 occasionally displays some anomalies like triangles appearing out of nowhere at which point it grinds to a halt. It will either "fix itself" or I have to restart X (Ctrl+Alt+BSpace). Card isn't OC'ed, Doom3 plays fine and only seems to happen when driving the tank.
