Requesting 64bit driver for Snow Leopard

If possible could the code be updated for 64bit compability?

The users in need for this are multiplying fast because the latest Snow Leopard preview builds are stable enough to use as main OS.

Thx in advance

Well, I've removed my Audigy 2 ZS because I got my onboard ALC889a working in 5.1 surround (with slightly better positional sound)

Re: Requesting 64bit driver for Snow Leopard

+1 but...

Doesn't snow leopard run 64 bit apps and have access to over 4GB RAM with the 32 bit kernel anyway?

Also not alot of 64 bit apps about atm to take full advantage of it anyway.

Would definitely be needed in the future but don't think it should be a priority if the current driver works in SL.

Hey guys,

What advantage is there for running the drive in 64bit mode?

Re: Requesting 64bit driver for Snow Leopard

So if you have >4gb ram do you need to run SL in 64bit mode thus requiring 64bit drivers for everything?
