I've installed apple mac on windows computer(motherboard asus P5KC and i have emu 0404 pci sound card installed works fine with my other two os xp prox86 and 32 bit but creative dont do mac drivers for this card . i've installed kx .dmg drivers and the pci card is recognised in systems preferences . audio and midi settings has options for speaker settings, which i tested. no sound!!! the other option i have is to install a semi pro sound card with mac drivers. I dont wont to do this, as i'm just trying apple mac out. dont want to waste money when the sound card I have is perfect for my setup and pocket. any help or advice would be welcome.
success i type in 'edspctrl' in terminal. I know have sound emu 0404 left and right out puts and digitial out. there is mention of kx interface, can anyone tell me how to bring this about. do i need to type a command line in terminal to open.!!!!
